In this experiment i observed and found out that using basic, acidic and neutral substances. When adding a basic substance the cabbage juice is most likely to be yellow, green or blue. When adding an acidic substance to the cabbage juice it is most likely to turn pink or red. When adding a neutral substance to the cabbage juice it is most likely to turn purple or not change.
I am a Year 8 student at Glen Innes School in Auckland, New Zealand. I am in Room 6 and my teacher is Miss Donaldson.

WALT: determine whether a substance is an acidic, basic or neutral
In this experiment i observed and found out that using basic, acidic and neutral substances. When adding a basic substance the cabbage juice is most likely to be yellow, green or blue. When adding an acidic substance to the cabbage juice it is most likely to turn pink or red. When adding a neutral substance to the cabbage juice it is most likely to turn purple or not change.
