Today for the Morning session my partner and I did a DLO on our collaborative problem solving. We found this pretty easy because we were able to read the problem and figure out the easiest strategy to use to solve the problem. We have done many DLO's but from our prospective this was our best work yet.
I am a Year 8 student at Glen Innes School in Auckland, New Zealand. I am in Room 6 and my teacher is Miss Donaldson.

Animal Safety!!!!!
Today in my graphics/technology classroom I we are learning about different charities. We have all made our own logos for our own charity organisations. The shield at the back shows is significant for helping and saving all animals not just dogs. Animals are neglected not by all humans but by some heartless humans in the world. Please help save these poor innocent animals. Thank You!

Solvemoji
Today in the first few minutes of school I completed a solvemoji equation. This equation uses 2 operations, as you can see they are multiplication and addition. I really enjoy using this site for Maths. It really helps me to improve in my addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. I look forward to using this more and selecting more difficult levels. If you would like to use this site click --> HERE. If you have any further queries about my work please please don't hesitate to use the comment section below to ask. Thank You for your time.

Tourism in New Zealand
Today in the second block of school, a friend & I used our reading skills & smart search to make inferences and complete a quiz. We learnt about AJ Hackett his partner Chris Sigglekow & the Pentecost Islanders they were inspired by. We solved a quiz by making inferences. I found it pretty easy since we were in partners. The technique we used was one person would search & the other person would write the answer on the quiz sheet. If you have any further queries please don't hesitate to use the comment section to ask. Thank You

Solvemoji
Today is the first day of Term 2. To start of this day & refresh our memory I completed a equation on solvemoji. Feel free to try a problem yourself & click on the link. I found this task challenging but that is what helped me to complete it. I hope to try harder problems. Thank you have a great first day back.

Identifying Figurative Languages In Novel
Today in class I drew a picture based on our topic in class on air. My drawing is based on the figurative language which was personification.
EG: "she wanted to claw the darkness away from her eyes."
Personification: Giving a non-living thing a human ability
I found this task very easy because I love to draw. I hope you enjoyed my art. THANK YOU

Subtracting and Adding Fractions
In the first session I played a math "game" which helps improve my subtracting and adding fractions. This helps me quite a lot....
