Author's Purpose Battleship

In class today my teacher shared with us a link to a battleship reading game.

What you have to do is play normal battleship but when you find there ship,

 you need to answer author's purpose questions (reading questions). I really enjoyed

it because it' a game and it helps us to learn. 

Collaborative DLO

Today I made a DLO. The operation we used was multiplication. I did two strategies for one problem. For one I did algorithm and for the other I did place value. A DLO helps me to understand the question.  I enjoy making a DLO.

Comparing toys from the Past and Present

In class I made three infographics based on the difference between toys back then and in our days. I learnt most of this information when the senior side of my school went to the howick historical village. We learnt about their schools, rules, houses, and the different jobs ladies and gentlemen had to do. I really enjoyed making this as well as going to the village. I learnt a lot of knew things. It was a wonderful experience.

The 4 averages

I created a DLO on the 4 averages. My favorite average is mode because I think it is the easiest.

In class I made a DLO on the four averages. We have been learning about the averages for a long time so I was pretty familiar of what to do. I really enjoyed making it. It was easy to me so I got through it fast.

Equalising Game

Yesterday my teacher assigned the class a equalising game.We had to equalise fractions, decimals and percentages. For the game I got up to level 7. I really enjoyed it and it really helped me to understand what to do. For this game my next goal is to get to level 10.

Kahoot

For maths in class we are learning about mean, mode, median and range. Today my teacher made a kahoot about mean, median, mode and range questions. It was hard but I won because I got questions right that others didn't I enjoyed it.  

Equivalent Fraction Game

In class I played the equivalent fraction game. While I was playing I reached my goal. I got up to level 11. It was difficult but I managed to make it.

Equivalent Fraction Game

I played a game in class about equivalent fractions. What you have to do is drag the fraction in a circle, you have to sort out the fractions so it is all equivalent. There is multiple levels that you have to finish. It is fun and it helps me learn. 

Prototec

In class I did another prototec. I have done  lot of prototec sheets which made it easier for me. I enjoyed it so much.

Angles and Lines of Shapes

In class today I made a DLO on angles and lines of shapes. I felt it was a bit easy because I used a protractor and had help from friends.

Writing Dialogue

Yesterday for writing my class and I did made a piece of writing using speech marks. I thought it was a bit easy because I did it with a friend and I am familiar with speech marks.

Prototec

In class I did a stage 8 prototec. I already learnt the things we need to do, but I didn't read one question properly, so I got it wrong. It was easy and I really enjoyed it. Next time I hope I can get it all correct.

Problem Solving DLO

In class I did a DLO. The operation was multiplication. I used place value. I felt it was pretty easy because I finished it quickly and I love using timetables.

Recount Tips

Yesterday I made an infographic on my top tips for a recount. I also use these tips a lot myself. These tips help me a lot so I hope it can help you. 

Basic Facts

In class I did prototec. I did stage 8 prototec it was a bit easy because I have learnt percentages, decimals, fractions, lcms and hcfs. 

Recount Quiz

I did a quiz on recounts. The questions were about what we use in recounts. I have been learning and taking in a lot of information on recounts, so I felt it was a bit easy.
